Ending Homelessness in Central IL

Welcome to the Central Illinois Continuum of Care (CICoC) official website. Although we are currently updating the website, we hope that you will find the existing information helpful and will check back regularly as we move forward.

It contains information for providers of services in our local area and anyone seeking housing assistance. Feel free to learn more about our continuum and funding opportunities or contact leadership for any additional inquiries you may have. I also encourage people to leave us feedback on how our continuum is performing.

We are a diverse group of people across a large swath of geographic space. Our continuum, one which is largely rural, has 11 counties in it:

  • Ford

  • Iroquois

  • Kankakee

  • Livingston

  • Logan

  • Mason

  • McLean

  • Menard

  • Piatt

  • Vermilion

Above all, our goal is to reduce and end homelessness. To accomplish that, we plan to meet regularly as a group to discuss any and all issues in our local area pertaining to the provision of services that help people experiencing homelessness. This means looking at gaps in services as well as common barriers to receiving assistance. Look in the About page for more information on meeting times.

As we move forward, we will publish regular posts and updates on specific pages of the site and look forward to launching a new Facebook page. These updates and posts will bring attention to specific news and information about homelessness, funding opportunities, and the continuum's efforts. We hope that the website will assist us all in maintaining a cohesive and strong network of providers.
